LUTs for CapCut

CapCut desktop imports .cube LUTs in its Adjustment panel — the fastest way to make AI clips look shot, not generated.

Apply a LUT

  1. 01In CapCut for desktop, select your clip and open Adjust → LUT (on the right panel).
  2. 02Click Import LUT and choose a file from “01 Rec709 - AI footage”. It's saved to your LUT list for every project.
  3. 03Set Name to the look and lower Intensity to 50–80 for subtle work.
  4. 04On mobile CapCut, apply the look on desktop first, or use the closest Filter and add our grain overlay.

Imported LUTs stay in CapCut's LUT list across projects on the same computer.

Add grain & light leaks

  1. 01Import the overlay MP4 and add it as an overlay track above your clip (right-click → Overlay or drag above the main track).
  2. 02In Video → Basic → Blend choose Overlay (grain, flicker, scanlines) or Screen (leaks, halation, dust, VHS tracking).
  3. 03Lower Opacity to taste.
  4. 04CapCut ignores alpha in some versions — use the “on black, Screen” MP4 for dust.

The 20 overlays (20 files at 4K) are in Lutpack Pro — $29 once.
